ANZ Pharma is an Auckland wholesale distributor of pharmaceutical, healthcare, wellness, beauty, and FMCG brands, supplying pharmacies, supermarkets, and retailers across New Zealand. We built its website in Next.js as the public face of a business that has moved to wholesale-only trading: a searchable brand directory with a page for each brand, a partner enquiry form handled on the server, and direct routes into its BigCommerce wholesale store for trade customers.

The Challenge

A website for a distributor that went wholesale-only

ANZ Pharma moved to wholesale-only trading, so its website had to speak to brands and trade buyers rather than shoppers, and send each of them to the right place.

1Telling former retail customers that the business is now wholesale-only, without losing them
2Presenting freight, warehousing, distribution, and support services as one end-to-end offer
3Showcasing the brands it distributes, each with a page of its own
4Turning interest from brands and retailers into partner enquiries the sales team can act on

Our Approach

A focused Next.js site that routes every visitor

We built the site on the Next.js App Router, kept it lean, and connected it to the services the business already runs on instead of rebuilding them.

Next.js App Router
A Next.js 16 site on the App Router with Tailwind CSS, optimized self-hosted fonts, clean trailing-slash URLs, an XML sitemap, and a robots file.
Searchable Brand Directory
A brands page that filters as you type, and a page for every brand with an overview, the brand story, and a product and packaging gallery.
Server-Side Partner Enquiries
A partner enquiry form submitted through a Next.js Server Action, with required fields and a hidden honeypot field to catch spam bots, next to an interactive Google Map.
Wholesale Store Hand-Off
My Account links that take trade customers straight into the BigCommerce wholesale store, plus a site-wide notice explaining the move to wholesale-only trading.
Capability Story
Homepage sections for freight, warehousing and distribution, and support services, the teams behind them, and rotating hero images from the warehouse.
