The Wedding Notebook

The Wedding Notebook is a digital wedding platform (SaaS) that helps couples in Malaysia and the wider region discover inspiration, find venues and vendors, and plan their wedding. We took over the codebase from another agency, fixed ongoing issues, reduced the server bill, and continued building new functionality across the vendor directory, real-weddings editorial, planning tools, and blog.

A content-heavy platform inherited mid-build

Organizing a huge amount of wedding content into something couples could navigate, without turning the agency handover into a rebuild.

We restructured the platform into five pillars so content, discovery, and the marketplace could each improve independently.

Content Architecture
Rebuilt the information hierarchy across venues, vendors, and editorial content so every content type has a clear, consistent home.
Editorial Experience
Designed real-wedding features and lookbook-style editorial pages that load high-resolution photography quickly without hurting Core Web Vitals.
Vendor Portal
Improved vendor login, listing submission, and profile management, so vendors and venues can be found and contacted directly by couples.
Couple Portal
Focused the couple experience on fast search, curated inspiration, and a low-friction path from discovery to enquiry.
Wedding Planning Resources
Shipped free, no-signup planning tools, starting with a wedding order-of-service builder, plus checklists and guides that support couples earlier in planning.
